Hi Avantikka,

Been following you for quite some time on LinkedIn, awesome content, Really!!!

Also; I wanted to know:

Is this plan applicable for complete beginners?

How many hours should I dedicate everyday to master DE topic in a month.

Like is it really realistic to become good at DE in a month?

Hi Avantikka, thank for your kind reply. I was a bit discouraged by some refusals while applying as a freelancer. The good think is I'm still employed, so I can take time to be ready.

Have a nice week-end, and I'll continue reading your quality and well-explained content. I think I discovered you trough a recommendation by Zach Wilson. Thanks to him.

Hello Avantikka , thank you so much for this post. I'm a Data Engineer with 4 years of experience on Data Warehouses, but my tech stack is a bit archaic (Oracle SQL, Python, a little bit of airflow). I need to upgrade in cloud and pyspark. I want to become a freelancer in Data Engineering, but I don't feel ready technically. This 30-day roadmap is very helpful. How many hours per day should I dedicate to be ready in 30 days?

Hi Zainoul! Thanks so much for your kind words. With your background, you’re already ahead—you just need to modernize your stack a bit. To get the most out of the 30-day roadmap, I’d suggest dedicating around 2–3 focused hours per day (more on weekends if possible). Stick to it consistently, and by the end of the month, you’ll feel way more confident tackling freelance data projects. You’ve got this!
